In a major development, Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) announced their squad for the upcoming Irani Cup. After the conclusion of the Duleep Trophy, the country is set for the Irani Cup. The one-off five-day game will be played between the current Ranji champions, Mumbai, and the Rest of India from October 1 to October 5 at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium.
MCA took the pitch to reveal their team lineup before to the match. It is important to note that Ajinkya Rahane, an experienced hitter from India, will captain the team during the match.
In addition, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer, Shams Mulani, Tanush Kotian, and numerous other celebrities will play for Mumbai in the match. Mumbai, the Ranji winners, will play the BCCI-selected Rest of India team.
Mumbai will be led by Ruturaj Gaikwad against the rest of India
In addition, the team for the rest of India was revealed, much like Mumbai. Ruturaj Gaikwad, a star batsman for India, will captain the team against Mumbai and is looking to do well against the Ranji champions.

Many celebrities, besides Gaikwad, will appear for the remainder of India. A few of them are Yash Dayal, Dhruv Jurel, Ishan Kishan, and Devdutt Padikkal. Ishan Kishan’s comeback to red-ball cricket will be watched closely. It’s interesting to note that Ishan Kishan declined to play red-ball cricket, which prevented the BCCI from offering him a national contract.
