After recovering from his injury, Jasprit Bumrah will be playing for Sri Lanka in one-day internationals

Jasprit Bumrah, a premier speed bowler for India, was selected on Tuesday to be a part of India’s team for the forthcoming one-day international series against Sri Lanka. This means that Bumrah will soon return to international cricket.

Bumrah’s most recent appearance with the Indian national side was in September of the previous year, when they played Australia in a series of Twenty20 Internationals at home. Unfortunately, a stress fracture in Bumrah’s back prevented him from competing in the Twenty20 World Cup.

Bumrah’s comeback will strengthen India’s fast bowling department, an area in which the team has struggled for some time due to a lack of genuine pace.
