After Pakistan’s narrow victory over Netherlands in the first ODI, Mohammad Hafeez said, “Pressure On Team Management…”

Mohammad Hafeez, a former captain of Pakistan who also played as an all-rounder, believes that the team management will now be under pressure to field a full strength squad in the second match of the series.

Even though Pakistan scored more than 300 runs, the Netherlands were only defeated in the inaugural one-day international by a narrow margin of 16 runs. Despite having a target of 315 runs to reach, the Dutch managed to score 298/8 in their innings. This was a really impressive performance. According to Mohammad Hafeez, a former captain of Pakistan and all-rounder, the team management is feeling pressured to play a full strength squad in the second match of the series.

Full praise goes to the @KNCBcricket team for playing tough and aggressive cricket in the first One-Day International match, which put pressure on the team management to play with their full squad in the second One-Day International match. The Netherlands were able to put up a fight against Pakistan in the first one-day international thanks to the efforts of Vikramjit Singh, Tom Cooper, and skipper Scott Edwards, all of whom struck half century.

Both Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah took three wickets, however it was to no avail because of their mistakes.

The Pakistani team was led by Babar Azam, who scored 74 runs, but Fakhar Zaman, who batted first for Pakistan, hit a century.
