India and Afghanistan squared off in Game 9 of the ODI World Cup 2023 on Wednesday, October 11 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bat first to start the match. When Afghanistan was given the opportunity to bat first, the game got off to a strong start as Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran appeared to be in the zone. However, the legendary Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah immediately ruined the fun.
Bumrah made a special celebration after dismissing Ibrahim Zadran in the seventh over with a score of 22 runs.
The 29-year-old exulted as Marcus Rashford of Manchester United did by pointing to his head. Social media platforms have been inundated with the same image.
