Former cricket player turned pundit Sanjay Manjrekar is in deep water after a 2012 statement he made about Virat Kohli surfaced and contrasted with his recent remarks about the batsman.
Sanjay Manjrekar tweeted in 2012 that India ought to give Kohli one more Test match to ensure he is not a member of the longest format in international cricket. But after 12 years, he has expressed gratitude to God for giving India a talent like Virat Kohli.
In 2012, Manjrekar said, “Give Virat one more test… just to be sure he does not belong here.” “Thank God we have a Virat Kohli,” he recently stated.
