According to reports, Sarfaraz Ahmed insults opponents during a PSL exhibition game.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also penalised the former captain of Pakistan for using crude words towards Balochistan in the 2022 National T20 Cup match.

When Peshawar Zalmi batter Mohammad Haris hit the medium-arm pacer for a boundary in the fourth over of Zalmi’s innings in the PSL exhibition game played on February 5 in Quetta’s Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti Cricket Stadium, Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed was overheard cursing at his teammate Aimal Khan. Haris eventually scored 50 points.

After Cricketpakistan.com.pk reported the incidence, it has come to light. In the National T20 Cup 2022 match against Balochistan, the wicketkeeper-batter used foul language after being dismissed, and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) reprimanded the former Pakistan captain for his behaviour. He was accused by PCB of using audible vulgarity, which is covered under Article 2.3.

Lahore Qalandars coach Aaqib Javed claimed that he had protested about the incident to umpire Aleem Dar in an interview with Cricket Pakistan in 2021.

“I discussed Sarfaraz’s treatment of Quetta’s bowlers from behind the stumps with Aleem Dar. I’m not sure how they manage to put up with these slurs and taunts. Why does he not violate the code of conduct after publicly abusing players? “told Cricket Pakistan’s Aaqib.

On Sunday, Peshawar fell three runs short of Quetta’s total despite Haris’ effort. When they batted first, Quetta Gladiators scored 184 for 5 in their 20 overs, thanks in large part to Iftikhar Ahmed’s performance of 94 runs off 50 deliveries. Ahmed hit Peshawar’s fast bowler Wahab Riaz for six consecutive sixes in the last over of the game, pushing his team above 180.

Riaz was the most effective bowler for Peshawar despite giving up six sixes. He was also the most costly bowler of the game as he grabbed three wickets in his spell of four overs while giving up 47 runs.

When attempting to reach the target, Haris and captain Babar Azam got Zalmi off to a quick start, scoring 65 runs for the first wicket in just 6.4 overs. But after that, the spinners from Quetta continued to dismiss batsmen at regular intervals, giving the hosts the victory.

The PSL, meanwhile, is scheduled to begin on February 13. Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars will square off in the event’s opening encounter at Multan.
