From September 5 to 8, M Chinnaswamy Stadium hosted the Duleep Trophy 2024 match between India B and India A. India A was chasing 275 on the fourth day of the contest. Due to an unfavourable DRS call, India B captain Abhimanyu Easwaran and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant found themselves in a perplexing predicament.
Just now, Shivam Dube had come into the crease to take up his eighth delivery. Mukesh Kumar gave Dube a bigger delivery that was angling away over the stumps. Even when it looked like the ball was missing a leg, the bowler persisted in asking for a review. While Pant remained uninterested, Easwaran complied with the bowler’s request and went for a review. The DRS displayed the ball missing the leg by a distance equivalent to a foot.
Here’s the video of Rishabh Pant, Abhimanyu Easwaran’s disagreement:

Leading the way for India B is Musheer Khan
Despite the DRS not working in his favour, Mukesh proceeded to take two wickets in ten overs, giving up fifty runs. Apart from him, Navdeep Saini contributed two scalps while Yash Dayal picked up three superb wickets. After 53 overs of batting, India A was bowled out for 198 runs, and India B won by 76 runs. Musheer Khan’s 181-run first-inning performance was crucial to India B’s triumph. With Navdeep Saini and Musheer, who had fallen one down, fighting together, the squad was on the verge of collapse at 94 for 7.
