Suryakumar Yadav, the new captain of the Indian T20I team, received a makeover in Mumbai from celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim. Suryakumar was selected the new captain of the shortest format following Rohit Sharma’s retirement from the Twenty20 Internationals. He won his first series against Sri Lanka 3-0, demonstrating his excellence. Following the tour, Mr. 360 went to see the celebrity hair stylist and decided to have a makeover.
The 33-year-old recently made headlines on social media for all the right reasons after making a historic catch of David Miller in the T20 World Cup final, which nearly sealed the team’s fate. For the ODI series against the Lankan Lions, selectors chose to go with players such as Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and Riyan Parag rather than the right-handed batsman. It is noteworthy that Hardik Pandya, who led the team as vice captain during the T20 World Cup in 2024, lost out to Yadav for the position of captain.
Here’s Suryakumar’s latest post on Instagram:

India’s batting order was one obvious feature that received harsh criticism from both fans and commentators. In three games, three different batsmen took the vital number four post, which some cheekily referred to as a “revolving door.” In addition, Rahul, who is regarded as the starting middle-order batsman, batted at numbers six and seven in the two games in which he appeared.
