A Special Screening of the FIFA World Cup Final Has Been Organized for Team India in Bangladesh

On Sunday, July 15, at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar, Argentina won their third FIFA World Cup title after defeating France 4-2 on penalties to claim the trophy. After 120 minutes of play, the score was still knotted at 3-3; however, Argentina was able to secure the victory in penalty kicks.

Lionel Messi was a standout for Argentina, scoring twice and earning the Golden Ball as the tournament’s best player. Kylian Mbappe, who scored a hat trick in the championship game to win the Golden Boot, was the standout for France, scoring all three goals and earning the Golden Ball.

The Indian cricket team, who are presently in Bangladesh for a two-match Test series, were treated to a special screening of the final match, which was played between France and Argentina.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a handful of photos to social media after attending a VIP screening of the World Cup final in Bangladesh.

The BCCI captioned the post with the phrase “Tense end.”

On Sunday, India won the first Test match of the two-match series against Bangladesh by a score of 188 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

In spite of being given an impossible target of 513 to win, Bangladesh put up a determined opposition, with debutant Zakir Hasan striking a century.

On the final day of the match, wicketkeeper Shakib was dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav after scoring a swashbuckling 84 runs, which included six sixes.

After an hour of play, Bangladesh was eventually bowled out for 324, and they lost their final four wickets during the course of the game.

Following this victory, India has moved up to the second slot on the points chart for the ICC World Test Championship.

It is worthy of note that India has never been defeated in a test match played in Bangladesh.
