September 2023 saw the marriage of Pakistani pacer Shaheen Afridi to Ansha Afridi, the daughter of former captain Shahid Afridi. On August 24, while the pacer was playing in Pakistan’s Test series against Bangladesh, the couple became parents to a baby boy. Shahid was spotted spending some time with his new grandson, Aliyaar Afridi, who was born.
The veteran shared the exciting welcome ceremony of the new family member on social media. In a video that is becoming viral, he was joined by his two daughters. Regarding his performance, Shaheen was ineffective in the first Test match against Pakistan, taking just two wickets in two innings.
