Star Indian hitter Shikhar Dhawan declared on Saturday, August 24, that he was retiring both domestically and internationally. The opener has only participated in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since his final match for India against Bangladesh in December 2022. Before being pulled out of the competition due to a shoulder injury, he played his final professional game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
