As the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2024 draws to a close, spectators have begun to fill the stands for the competition’s postseason round. In addition to the stadium patrons, a fan has become well-known for his antics outside the stadium. In the 27th game between the Siechem Madurai Panthers and the Chepauk Super Gillies, the batter hit a home run and the local player would not give it back.
J Kousik of the Panthers bowled a short delivery on the fifth ball of the 12th over, and D Santhosh Kumar hit a clean pull that smoked the ball far over the pitch. The ball travelled a great distance before coming to rest close to a field. With a lively demeanour, the person wandering around Dindigul’s NPR College Ground Stadium took up the leather and wouldn’t give it back.

The TNPL 2024 playoff matchup starts.
In reference to the TNPL 2024, it has emerged as one of the state leagues that is most sought after. Dindigul Dragons, Lyca Kovai Kings, Tiruppur Tamizhans, and Chepauk Super Gillies have advanced to the playoffs in the current tournament. With six wins in seven games, Kovai Kings are currently leading the standings. Tamizhans, with four wins in seven games, are in second place.

On July 30, at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul, Kovai Kings and Tiruppur Tamizhans will square off in the Qualifier 1. The losers will get another chance to win the trophy on August 2 in Qualifier 2, as they secured the top two slots in the league stages. The victor will automatically advance to the finals, which will take place on August 4 at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.
