When the Mumbai Indians signed Jasprit Bumrah for the 2013 Indian Premier League, he lacked experience. On April 4, he made his debut against Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Bengaluru), giving up three consecutive boundaries to Virat Kohli in his opening over. But the veteran pacer came back strong, taking the top Indian batsman for a wicket in the fourth delivery, setting the stage for an amazing career.
When Bumrah spoke about his early years as a Mumbai Indians player, he disclosed that he relied heavily on captain Rohit Sharma and would ask him to fix the pitch for him. The 30-year-old claimed that after learning the responsibilities over time, he began to shift careers since he didn’t want to rely on other people.
“I didn’t know much about cricket when I first started playing in the IPL, so I would go to Rohit Sharma and say, ‘You set the pitch, I don’t know.'” Bumrah told Indian Express, “I am going to bowl this ball; you set the field & I trust you; whatever the field right you set the field”; gradually, he learnt he couldn’t rely too much on others and began honing his skill.
This is how Bumrah is made .
Thanks to @ImRo45 for making the world best bowler.Bumrah said ” I used to trust blindly on Rohit and I just used to bowl and doesn’t care about field placement bcz It was set by Rohit”

Ibrahimovic is a football player for Sweden, therefore his narrative struck a chord with me. Jasprit Bumrah
Jasprit Bumrah disclosed that he was a major fan of Ibrahimovic and that he hoped to meet him in the future. The cricketer, who was born in Ahmedabad, said that he could relate to the story because both players came from low-sports-knowledge families and overcame great obstacles to achieve success.

“I am a fan of Ibrahimovic; his story spoke to me because I came from a family where no one knew anything about the sport. I used to play ball differently and many people didn’t think I could bowl, so I saw him fighting against the odds. Hopefully, one day, I will get the chance to meet him,” Bumrah remarked.
