On July 10, West Indies and England will play their first Test match at Lord’s in London. King Charles invited the West Indies squad to Buckingham Palace before of the Test match. He engaged with each player and demonstrated excitement as he attempted to uphold their fraternal customs. He even attempted a five-step handshake with a player before acknowledging that it was difficult.
Hurricane Beryl caused enormous damage in Jamaica, and even after the Indian team won the 2024 T20 World Cup, they were forced to stay in Barbados as a result. King Charles III conveyed his sadness and care for the individuals stranded on the island as a result of the hurricane. In addition to thanking the King for hosting, West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite disclosed that he keeps a tight eye on his horses.
I’ve been watching your horses, so I too wish you the best of luck. It was a tremendous opportunity for the entire crew to be here, and we were pleased to have been invited. “We want to make West Indians proud and put a smile on their faces during these tough times, even though Hurricane Beryl has been devastating,” Brathwaite stated, as reported by India Today.
