The early hours of July 4 saw the arrival of India skipper Rohit Sharma and his colleagues in Delhi. Thousands of fans flocked to the airport to welcome the world champions, and they were met with a magnificent celebration. With his family trailing closely behind, Rohit could be seen smiling broadly as he walked out holding the prize.
BCCI secretary Jay Shah greeted the skipper with roses as soon as he arrived at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. Subsequently, with BCCI president Roger Binny in attendance, Shah and Rohit both cut an arranged cake. While checking into the ITC Maurya, the opener appeared content and continued to dance the Bhangra. In addition, Rohit waved to the supporters and raised the trophy for everyone to see as they made their way to the team hotel.

On July 4, India has a busy schedule because they will also be meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is anticipated that the Men in Blue will return to the team hotel for a little while following the two-hour meeting. They’re heading to Mumbai shortly afterward, where there’s going to be a big parade at Wankhede Stadium and along Marine Drive.

In the meantime, the Indian squad has a customised champions jersey made for them. It’s the same jersey that the Indian squad played in the T20 World Cup, but the term “Champions” has taken the place of the sponsor’s name. Binny was dressed in an India blazer, although Rohit, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shivam Dube were seen sporting that jersey.
