Pant, the popular wicketkeeper-batter from India, was involved in a potentially fatal accident in December 2022, which shocked the whole country. When ShahRukh Khan saw the accident’s aftermath, he conveyed his grief and voiced his genuine worry for Pant’s safety.
“That was terrifying. I saw the video of his car. That was terrifying! since we were ignorant of the accident’s outcome at the time. So you experience the worst emotions. In an interview with Star Sports, Khan said, “These boys are like my own sons to me.” His remarks struck a chord with the sympathetic worry of a guide watching the suffering of a follower.

Khan discussed the situational double jeopardy that athletes experience, emphasizing the severe consequences of injury on both their personal and professional lives.
“Young people make up my team as well. I hoped his wounds weren’t too severe. Additionally, there is double jeopardy when a sportsman is hurt. Even worse than that, we are getting hurt. I hope the best for him. I’m hoping for a quick, full recovery for his knee. “I was telling him not to get up because it must be hurting in the last game,” Khan said, reflecting on the common experience of vulnerability in the sports world.
Pant overcame difficulties and demonstrated incredible resilience by making a stunning comeback and playing exceptionally well in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Khan was clearly pleased to see Pant back to his best when he recapped their latest encounter, showing admiration for Pant’s tenacity.
