Pat Cummins, the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), won the toss and decided to bowl first against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Thanks to Daryl Mitchell’s first-ever IPL fifty and captain Ruturaj Gaikwad’s outstanding 98, CSK amassed a huge 212 for 3. Tushar Deshpande responded by taking four wickets, which caused Sunrisers Hyderabad to be bowled for 134 and lose the game by 78 runs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad still have hope for a postseason trip.
