Danish Kaneria, a former wrist-spinner for Pakistan, has gained attention following some audacious claims that he made against Shahid Afridi.
The 42-year-old claimed lately that Afridi, a former colleague, attempted to convert him from Hinduism to Islam by coercion. Kaneria has now dropped another bombshell by sharing a video on ‘X’ that supports his claims. Afridi missed his call after witnessing his daughter take part in a puja ceremony, which he had watched on TV. In his rage, he broke the TV and also claimed to be the one in the video.
Shahid Afridi broke TV because his daughter was performing Pooja.
Just imagine if he could do this to her innocent daughter, how would he have treated me. https://t.co/bcjy6LqnoA

Kaneria asked people to consider how harshly Afridi would have treated him during their time on the national team if he could have reacted that way in front of his daughter.
Shahid Afridi daughter was doing puja, therefore he broke the TV. On his official X Twitter, Kaneria stated, “Just imagine how would he have treated me if he could have done this to his innocent daughter.”
In response to his accusations on Shahid Afridi, Kaneria tweeted that he had received unjust treatment while living in Pakistan.
Kaneria was only the second Hindu cricket player to represent Pakistan, for those who are unaware. Kaneria played in 18 One-Day Internationals and 61 Tests during the course of his ten-year international career. In the two formats, he claimed 261 and 15 wickets, respectively. During his tenure with Pakistan, he amassed 15 five-wicket hauls and was considered one of the finest spinners of his period. In a 2010 Test match at Trent Bridge against England, he made his final appearance for his country. Kaneria is the only spinner from Pakistan with more wickets in Test cricket. In 11 Test matches against the Men in Blue, he took 43 wickets and enjoyed playing against India as well.
