The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 Event Technical Committee has given the go-ahead for a player to be replaced. Kevin Sinclair has replaced Yannic Cariah on the West Indies team.
Yannic Cariah couldn’t play because he hurt his nose during a training practise earlier in the event.
Sinclair will arrive in Harare on June 29 before the next game on July 1 against Scotland. Before a new player can be added to the group, the Event Technical Committee has to agree that the old player should be replaced.
Chris Tetley, ICC Head of Events (Chair), Sarah Edgar, ICC Representative, Hamilton Masakadza, Host Tournament Director, Dirk Viljoen, Host Nominee, Pommie Mbangwa (Independent), Natalie Germanos (Independent), and Gurjit Singh, Managing Committee Affairs, make up the Event Technical Committee for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023.
