The much-anticipated schedule for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 was released on Tuesday, June 27. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) did this at an event in Mumbai. Fans are once again looking forward to the most anticipated game of the event, which will be between India and Pakistan on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
India has a great record against their biggest enemy, as they have beaten them all seven times the two teams have played each other. Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag has added fuel to the fire before the high-stakes match by saying that India handles the pressure of big games better than Pakistan and has a better record because of it.
“I think India can handle pressure now, which is why they win, while Pakistan has to carry the weight of not having won against India. India was good at handling pressure in the 1990s, but after 2000, they got better at it. I don’t think it’s right if a player says they don’t feel pressure. “We used to say that too, but at the end of the day, we know it’s an India vs. Pakistan game, and emotions run high,” Sehwag said at the launch of the schedule, which was shown on Star Sports.

The former India opener also said that he and former Pakistan bowler Shoaib Akhtar will fight on social media during the game.
“Everyone knows that the India vs. Pakistan match will be the centre of attention. During that game, “I’m ready to go to war with Shoaib Akhtar on social media,” he said.
India had never lost to Pakistan in any world cup game (both T20I and ODI) up until 2020. But the streak ended at the 2021 T20 World Cup in Dubai, when a team led by Babar Azam beat India by ten wickets.
