Yashasvi Jaiswal, a flamboyant Indian cricketer and southpaw for the Rajasthan Royals, praised the IPL franchise for managing his finances so he could be completely invested in the game. In the recently concluded IPL 2023, the Rajasthan opener amassed 625 runs at an average of 48.08, with five half-centuries and one century.
In his early years, when he was peddling panipuri on the streets of Mumbai and somehow managing to raise money for his cricket coaching, Yashasvi Jaiswal made tremendous strides to the top of his game. The southpaw disclosed his financial situation and credited Rajasthan with helping him concentrate on his game.
“My principal concern is cricket; that is my main concern. I believe I have received a great deal of support from the the Rajasthan Royals in this matter. They manage my finances, and the franchise instructs me on how to invest my capital. They handle my finances so I can concentrate on cricket. The Indian Express quoted Yashasvi Jaiswal as saying, “I am incredibly appreciative and have the utmost respect for every franchise that is doing this for their players.”
“Until now, I have governed myself exceptionally well. I have faith in my own decisions. Second, I prioritise spending money on necessities. For instance, I require a healthy diet and a safe residence for my family. I won’t say I don’t spend a lot, because I do, but it’s never on anything superfluous,” he continued.
He elaborated on the significance of the experience acquired while playing in the Premier League and how it has contributed to his personal development.
“It also depends on interpersonal relationships. I have been playing IPL cricket for the past three to four years. I have experience and am aware of the dos and don’ts.
Yashasvi Jaiswal stated, “Now that I’ve gained experience, I strive to make fewer errors and just want to focus on my game.
