In the fourth T20I, the West Indies and England continued their five-game T20I series. On Saturday, November 16, both teams faced off at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St. Lucia. Although the team hoped for a clean sweep, England had already secured the series going into the match.
After losing the toss, England came in to bat first in the fourth Twenty20 International of the series. Will Jacks and Phil Salt scored 25 and 55 runs, respectively, as the team began the innings. With Jacob Bethell remaining undefeated with 62 runs in 32 deliveries, captain Jos Buttler added 38 runs to the total.
England lost five wickets while scoring 218 runs in the first innings. With two wickets to his credit, Gudakesh Motie was the leading wicket-taker for the West Indies. Roston Chase and Alzarri Joseph both claimed one wicket apiece.
The Windies’ opening completes the task for the hosts.
The West Indies started their innings with Evin Lewis and Shai Hope hitting 68 and 54 runs, respectively, with the goal of chasing down a target of 219 runs in the second innings. Captain Rovman Powell scored 38 runs in 23 deliveries after star batsman Nicholas Pooran left for a duck following the strong start.
Additionally, the Windies won the match by five wickets after chasing down the goal in 19 overs thanks to an undefeated 29-run performance from Sherfane Rutherford. With three wickets, Rehan Ahmed was the top wicket-taker for England. John Turner also claimed one wicket.

After winning the match, the West Indies will look to win the fifth Twenty20 International of the series as a consolation victory.
