VVS Laxman, India’s acting head coach, commended his team for their bold performance in the current four-match Twenty20 International series against South Africa. With an insurmountable 2-1 lead in the series, Suryakumar Yadav‘s team would like to win the final game to secure the title.
Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma both smashed thrilling tonnes in Durban and Centurion, respectively, as India has collected 200-plus totals in two of the three games played thus far. The bowlers have also performed admirably, with Varun Chakaravarthy, a mystery spinner, leading the way. Although South Africa prevailed in the second Twenty20 International, the Indian bowlers’ impressive skill sets made a meagre 125-run target appear much larger.
VVS Laxman claimed that, particularly when on foreign tours, the Indian squad made every effort to amuse the spectators.
He also praised the supporters for their unwavering support and devotion, which made them feel at home. “We have witnessed this team’s fearless approach in these three games. We perform and attempt to amuse the audience whenever we travel to another country. And we always feel like we’re playing at home,” Laxman remarked at an Indian team reception.
India gets ready for the Johannesburg test.
The series-deciding fourth Twenty20 International between South Africa and India is scheduled for Friday, November 15, at Johannesburg’s Wanderers Stadium, following three exciting games. The Men in Blue will go into the match as the favourites since they have appeared to be in better form than the Proteas, who have dropped seven of their last nine games in the game’s shortest format.

Since bowling all-rounder Marco Jansen is South Africa’s top run scorer in the series, their batting has fallen short. For the home team, players like David Miller, Heinrich Klaasen, and captain Aiden Markram must stand up.
