Australia and India are scheduled to compete in the next Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In the first Test of the series, both teams will start fighting in Perth on November 22. There are numerous matchups that the fans will be looking forward to as the five-game series draws near.
The match between the Australian team and India’s wicketkeeper, Rishabh Pant, is one of those. Pant was a major irritant for Australia in the 2020–21 season, and the hosts would undoubtedly be planning to deal with him this time due to his performance.
In addition, Pant is noted for his chattering and chirping from behind the stumps. During the 2020–21 series, Cummins, who was a cast member, was shown responding to a video of Pant sledging him. Pant is seen in the video instructing Cummins to smash a six. Cummins erupted in a fit of rage, unable to control himself.

Pat Cummins said, “Rishabh Pant had a great series in Australia last time. He’s always a bit of that X-factor in the middle order. He’s always got something to say behind the stumps, he’s very funny, makes me laugh”. (Star Sports). pic.twitter.com/nSpCHQGQKc

I’m looking forward to the five-game Test series: Pat Cummins
Pat Cummins also recently discussed the possibility of competing against India in a future BGT. He said his team takes pleasure in their ability to perform in their home environment, even though they haven’t had the best results against India.
“After a little hiatus, I’m looking forward to the five-match Test series. I’m eager to dive in. Although we haven’t had much success against India in recent Test matches, Cummins told Star Sports, “We always take pride in playing well here in Australia.”
