The second T20I of the current series pits India against Bangladesh. On Wednesday, October 9, both teams faced off at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Team India was put to bat first in the match. For Nitish Kumar Reddy, it turned out to be a memorable day in the first innings.
Reddy made his presence known as he batted in the middle order and impressed everyone right away. Reddy twice put Bangladesh’s Rishad Hossain back to the cleaners in the tenth over of the opening innings.
Nitish Reddy scored his first half century in international cricket after hitting the spinner for two straight sixes on the third and fourth balls of the over. Additionally, the video of him hitting two consecutive sixes against Rishad has gone popular on social media.

Nitish Kumar Reddy leaves after a stellar 74
Following that, in the second Twenty20 International of the series against Bangladesh, Nitish Kumar Reddy produced an outstanding knock. Standing at the crease, the great batsman disrupted the other team’s bowling attack. After scoring 74 runs in just 34 deliveries, Mustafizur Rahman dismissed him in the 14th over of the first innings, ending his innings.
Reddy made the most of his opportunity when he eventually got to play for team India, having shown great promise in the Indian Premier League. In the first innings, his knock was crucial in assisting the hosts in putting up a large total.
