In the first batting innings against India in Chennai, Bangladesh have run into some difficulties. Bangladesh, who lost the first Test match against the home team by 376 runs in the first innings, was put into bat early on Day 2.
But the side was soon overpowered by the formidable bowling assault of team India. The spell of Akash Deep caused problems for Bangladesh, even if opener Shadman Islam left the field after just two runs in the opening over.
As Akash Deep entered the field to bowl the ninth over of the opening innings, he removed Zakir Hasan with the first ball of the over
Zakir Hasan was bowled out for three runs after Akash Deep, bowling at the correct length, angled the ball into the stumps. Hasan got beaten on the inside.
Moreover, on the very next ball of the over, he took another wicket. Akash Deep took his second wicket of the day, removing Mominul Haque for a duck, with a delivery that was nearly identical to Mominul Haque’s.
What a sight for a fast bowler!
