Schedule for the T20 World Cup 2024 Qualifier to be contested in Edinburgh from July 20-28 has been released.

The fixtures for the Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier in July have been released, with the event scheduled to take place from July 20–28, 2023, in Edinburgh.

Two of the seven competing nations will advance to the 2024 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in the United States and the West Indies. In addition to Ireland (12th in the world) and Scotland (15th), Jersey (22nd), Italy (32nd), Germany (35th), Denmark (37th), and Austria (42nd) will also compete.

Ireland and Scotland are the favorites to qualify, but they will face off in their respective final games on Friday, July 28 at Grange Cricket Club, which could be a life-or-death situation for either team.

The most recent T20 World Cup was contested in Australia in October 2022, and Ireland advanced to the Super 12 stage of the competition. They defeated Scotland and the West Indies in group play before defeating eventual champion England by five runs (DLS) at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
