Former Australia coach Justin Langer praised the aggressiveness of India’s Virat Kohli on the pitch and said that the BCCI did the former captain a harm by not letting him stay as captain in ODIs.
Notably, he said this while the important World Test Championship (WTC) 2021–2023 Final between India and Australia was still going on. Langer, who is part of the analysis team, said that Kohli’s love for the sport was amazing. He also said that the BCCI was wrong for not letting him keep being captain in ODIs.
“I liked how aggressive he was (Virat Kohli). He was wronged by BCCI, and I don’t want to hear anything else about it. “Out of respect, he should have been able to keep the ODI captaincy if he wanted to,” Langer said while calling the WTC Final.
